As the only candidate in this race with a 100% lifetime voting record with the Iowa Federation of Labor, I will always stand with working people and the labor movement. Growing Iowa’s middle class depends on protecting the right to organize, collective bargaining, and to stand together for better pay, safer workplaces, and a secure retirement. 

In Congress, I’ll support passage of the PRO Act to strengthen and enforce these rights, and I’ll work to ensure strong enforcement of the Davis-Bacon Act so that federally funded infrastructure projects pay workers fair, prevailing wages. I believe in unions and apprenticeships because I believe in dignity—and that every Iowan deserves to share in the prosperity their labor creates.
