Our veterans kept their promise to our country. In return, we need to keep our promises to them. I’ve heard from too many veterans in Iowa who are stuck waiting for appointments, denied the mental health support they need, or lost in a maze of bureaucracy. In Congress, I’ll work to expand access to VA services—especially in rural areas—and ensure our vets can access housing, education, and job training without jumping through hoops. I’ll also advocate for increased investment in suicide prevention and crisis response. Supporting veterans is our obligation.
