Our economy should reward hard work, not hoarding wealth. But too often, it feels like the system is rigged against the very people who keep it running. Working families deserve the tools and opportunities to build a good life.
In Congress, I’ll fight to raise wages and support local small businesses—not by writing blank checks, but by investing in apprenticeships, vocational schools, community colleges, and job training programs that prepare Iowans for high-skill, high-wage work. I’ll support policies that build out broadband access in rural areas and invest in infrastructure that connects people to opportunity. And I’ll go after the companies that exploit workers through wage theft or deceptive fees, because no Iowan should be cheated out of an honest day’s pay.
